Scan to Bim Surveyor

Vision Survey is seeking to recruit a full-time CAD Operator/Land Surveyor based at our office in Three Bridges, Crawley. The position will allow the right person with high attention to detail to grow within the industry and enact our exacting standards on a multitude of projects.

Salary: 35k – 40k

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will involve site data capture and the production of 2D/3D survey models in many different formats using processed survey data from laser scanners, Total Station and GNSS. Depending on the client scope and delivery requirements, the ability to produce highly accurate and quality oriented deliverables is an essential trait for this position. Attention to detail is also a key attribute.

What we are looking for:

– Knowledge and experience of site-based land surveying and engineering.

– Understanding of survey instruments and techniques.

– Experience in producing drawings such as 2D plans, 3D models, elevations and internal building surveys.

– Understanding of Primary control installation and calculations

– Experience of converting information from point cloud data.

– Able to Quality check plans and drawings for a accuracy and client specific requirements.

– Educated to A-level standard or relevant experience.

– Good IT skills.

– Understanding of construction safety.

– Enthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated.

– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Experience in the following is essential:

– AutoCAD

– Civil3D

– Cyclone – Register, Model, and Publisher

– Cloud Worx

– Revit

Experience in the following is beneficial:

– Bentley Microstation

– N4CE

– Leica Geo-Office

Requirements:

– Uk Drivers licence

– CSCS card
