Assistant Utility Surveyor

Vision Survey is seeking to recruit a full-time Assistant Utility Surveyor based at our office in Three Bridges, Crawley. The position will allow the right person to develop and grow within the industry and enact our exacting standards on a multitude of projects throughout the UK.

Assistant Utility Surveyor

Salary: 19k – 23k

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting the Project Managers, you will:

  • Assist the Utility Surveyor to provide completed utility survey reports in line with Vision Survey and industry standards within the allocated timescale and budget.
  • Assist with utility identification works.
  • Work as part of a team of surveyors.
  • Report to Project Managers on a daily basis to ensure that survey reports are delivered to the correct standards.
  • Promote the company values and carry out duties in a professional manner.

What we are looking for:

  • Holder of CSCS card.
  • Holder of a full UK driving license.
  • Knowledge of utility surveying and civil engineering.
  • 5-year traceable history (applicant may be required to work on security sensitive projects)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ensure that all survey equipment is maintained and well kept.
  • Understanding of construction safety.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Good standard of English.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate around GPR, EML, radio detection, drainage, and topographical survey techniques and equipment, GPS location and positioning and data processing.
